Bilingual Collections Specialist, English – Spanish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Manage both inbound and outbound collection calls with professionalism and efficiency.

• Reach out to customers regarding their overdue accounts and strive for suitable solutions.

• Negotiate payment plans in line with established protocols.

• Address objections, resistance, and challenging customer interactions with professionalism.

• Ensure consistent and appropriate follow-ups with customers.

• Diligently document account communications, payment agreements, and updates.

• Adhere to relevant collection policies and compliance regulations.

• Safeguard customer confidentiality and protect sensitive account data.

• Aim for both individual and team collection performance objectives.

• Provide a professional customer experience while pursuing account resolution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in BPO, contact center, or professional collections.

• Proficient in managing inbound and outbound collections calls.

• Experienced in dealing with delinquent or overdue accounts.

• Skilled in negotiating payment arrangements or settling outstanding balances.

• Familiarity with FDCPA and U.S. collections compliance standards.

• Strong English communication skills.

• Strong Spanish communication skills.

• Experience in achieving individual or team collections KPIs.

• Previous third-party collections experience is preferred.

• Prior remote or work-from-home experience is preferred.

• Must be permanently residing in Mexico or Colombia.

• Windows 11 PC (Mac systems are not supported).

• At least 16 GB of RAM.

• i5 processor or better.

• Additional monitor required.

• Webcam necessary.

• Wired USB headset required.

• Stable and reliable wired Ethernet internet connection.

• Backup power solution essential.

• Proficient in Microsoft Teams / Office 365.

• Must have the necessary equipment, internet connectivity, and workspace for dependable remote work.
