Bilingual Collections Specialist, English & Spanish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Manage both inbound and outbound collection calls with professionalism and efficiency.

• Reach out to customers regarding overdue accounts and strive for suitable resolutions.

• Negotiate payment agreements following established protocols.

• Address objections, resistance, and challenging customer interactions in a professional manner.

• Ensure consistent and appropriate follow-ups with customers.

• Accurately record account interactions, payment arrangements, and updates.

• Adhere to all relevant collections policies and compliance standards.

• Safeguard customer confidentiality and protect sensitive account details.

• Aim to achieve individual and team collections performance goals.

• Provide a professional customer experience while pursuing account resolution.

• Complete the hiring process, which includes resume assessment, a pre-screen questionnaire, a one-way video interview, and live interviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience in BPO, contact center, or professional collections.

• Experience in managing inbound and outbound collection calls.

• Familiarity with handling delinquent or overdue accounts.

• Proven experience in negotiating payment agreements or resolving outstanding debts.

• Understanding of FDCPA and U.S. collections compliance regulations.

• Proficient English communication skills.

• Proficient Spanish communication skills.

• Experience working towards individual or team collections KPIs.

• Preference for candidates with third-party collections experience.

• Previous remote or work-from-home experience is a plus.

• Must be permanently based in Mexico or Colombia.

• Required to have the necessary equipment and internet connection for dependable remote work.

• Windows 11 PC (Mac is not supported).

• Minimum 16 GB RAM.

• i5 processor or higher.
