Bilingual Collections Specialist – English, Spanish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Manage inbound and outbound collection calls in a professional and efficient manner.

• Reach out to customers regarding overdue accounts and strive for suitable resolutions.

• Negotiate payment plans in line with established protocols.

• Professionally address objections, resistance, and challenging customer interactions.

• Ensure consistent and appropriate follow-up with customers.

• Precisely document account communications, payment plans, and updates.

• Adhere to all relevant collection policies and compliance standards.

• Safeguard customer confidentiality and protect sensitive account information.

• Aim for both individual and team collection performance goals.

• Provide a professional customer experience while working towards account resolution.

• Complete all stages of the recruitment process: resume evaluation, pre-screen questionnaire, one-way video interview, and live interviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience in BPO, contact center, or professional collections.

• Proficiency in managing inbound and outbound collections calls.

• Experience with delinquent or overdue accounts.

• Skilled in negotiating payment plans or resolving outstanding debts.

• Familiarity with FDCPA and U.S. collections compliance regulations.

• Excellent English communication skills.

• Proficient Spanish communication skills.

• Experience working towards individual or team collection KPIs.

• Preferred experience in third-party collections.

• Previous remote or work-from-home experience is advantageous.

• Must be permanently based in Mexico or Colombia.

• Required to have the necessary equipment and internet connection for reliable remote work.

• Windows 11 PC (Mac not supported).

• Minimum of 16 GB RAM.

• i5 processor or higher.
