Bilingual Collections Specialist, English & Spanish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Manage inbound and outbound collections calls with professionalism and efficiency.

• Reach out to customers with overdue accounts and collaborate towards suitable solutions.

• Negotiate payment plans in accordance with established guidelines.

• Professionally address objections and handle challenging customer interactions.

• Ensure consistent and appropriate follow-up with customers.

• Accurately log account interactions, payment arrangements, and updates.

• Adhere to relevant collections policies and compliance standards.

• Safeguard customer confidentiality and protect sensitive account information.

• Strive to meet individual and team collections performance goals.

• Provide a professional customer experience while working towards account resolution.

• Complete the recruitment process, which includes reviewing resumes, pre-screen questionnaires, one-way video interviews, and live interviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience in BPO, contact center, or professional collections.

• Proven experience in managing inbound and outbound collections calls.

• Experience in handling delinquent or past-due accounts.

• Skilled in negotiating payment arrangements or resolving outstanding balances.

• Familiarity with FDCPA and U.S. collections compliance regulations.

• Proficient in English communication.

• Proficient in Spanish communication.

• Experience in achieving individual or team collections KPIs.

• Preferred experience in third-party collections.

• Previous remote or work-from-home experience is a plus.

• Must be permanently based in Mexico or Colombia.

• Must possess a Windows 11 PC; Mac systems are not supported.

• A minimum of 16 GB RAM is required.

• An i5 processor or higher is necessary.

• Additional monitor is required.

• Webcam is needed for communication.

• Wired USB headset is mandatory.

• Reliable, stable wired Ethernet internet connection is essential.

• Backup power solution must be in place.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Teams / Office 365 is necessary.

• Must have the required equipment, internet connection, and workspace to ensure effective remote work.
