Senior ColdFusion Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and enhance applications based on ColdFusion.

• Write and optimize SQL scripts, queries, stored procedures, and functions for Oracle databases.

• Design and implement server database objects such as tables, views, indexes, and triggers.

• Conduct application testing and debugging to ensure quality and performance standards are met.

• Develop and maintain front-end components utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a modern JavaScript framework.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system implementation and resolve incidents in accordance with government lifecycle processes.

• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation.

• Provide ongoing application support and enhancements aligned with business requirements.

• Work closely with Business Solutions and IT teams throughout the entire software development lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of overall experience in software development with a B.S. or B.A. degree.

• At least 10 years of experience in developing and supporting ColdFusion applications.

• 5 years of experience in coding with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a JavaScript framework (like ReactJS or Vue JS).

• 4–5 years of experience in writing SQL queries and stored procedures that integrate with ColdFusion applications.

• Experience in designing and modifying Oracle server databases.

• Familiarity with modern development processes.

• Ability to successfully pass a public trust-level background investigation as part of the credentialing process for federal clients.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication abilities.

• Capacity to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
