This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Serve as a technical leader across multiple business domains and vendor cloud platforms.
• Evaluate issues and manage cloud platforms effectively.
• Comprehend and develop both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Create cloud strategies for infrastructure, platforms, and applications/services.
• Lead projects while following established principles, platforms, and standards.
• Act as a cloud engineering subject matter expert, contributing to projects from their inception through to execution.
• Take ownership of deliverables related to DevOps, scripting, automated deployment, security, backup and recovery, monitoring, and support.
• Formulate cloud strategies utilizing AWS/Azure ecosystems and migrate enterprise infrastructure, applications, and data to hybrid or fully cloud-enabled practices.
• Contribute to 24/7/365 staffing coverage across business and vendor cloud platforms.
• Develop security plans, conduct testing, and ensure maintenance.
• Contribute to and, when necessary, directly oversee Managed Cloud Services.
• Engage in automation, DevOps, and CI/CD tasks.
• Implement infrastructure as code across AWS and Azure environments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with services or technologies.
• Enhance the technical knowledge base.
• Perform additional duties as required.
• Over 5 years of substantial experience in functional, technical, and integration-related areas.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in infrastructure or software engineering.
• More than 3 years of experience with cloud technologies/platforms and transformation processes.
• Proficiency in development within AWS/Azure environments, including design and implementation.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and/or continuous deployment tools and scripting.
• Experience with infrastructure as code methodologies.
• Preferred certification as a Solutions Architect on a major cloud platform such as AWS or Azure equivalent.
• Additional knowledge in security and network disciplines is preferred.
• Experience in producing concise documentation and engaging in modeling activities.
• Ability to grasp client requirements from technical descriptions and demonstrate the implementation of both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Capacity to bridge technology knowledge gaps between IT and corporate teams, including business and product, compliance, security, legal, and procurement departments.
• Strong conceptual skills and the ability to implement practical methods and procedures.
