This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver dedicated customer-facing assistance for 11:11 Systems’ cloud network systems, encompassing configuration, troubleshooting, monitoring, and intricate escalations.
• Assume ownership and accountability for allocated responsibilities related to cloud network systems.
• Lead network troubleshooting efforts during incidents and resolve issues within SLA commitments.
• Engage in on-call rotation duties.
• Document activities in the company ticketing system and maintain knowledge-base documentation.
• Create and uphold custom reporting, platform-specific build and support documentation, diagrams, and Customer Design Requirements (CDRs).
• Assist in preparing detailed Service Incident Reports (SIRs), including root-cause analysis and preventive measures.
• Plan and implement changes for incidents, customer requests, lifecycle management, implementation, and decommissioning projects, often outside standard business hours.
• Triage incident, change, and request tickets for Enterprise Cloud Infrastructure and Disaster Recovery clients.
• Manage switches, firewalls, load balancers, IPSEC VPNs, and WAN networking configurations.
• Implement and oversee network security hardware and software while enforcing network security policies.
• Provide additional support for Cloud Services deployment engineering functions.
• Collaborate with the Network Solution Architect team regarding customer network designs.
• Pursue advanced certifications and remain updated with Cisco, F5, and VMware technologies.
• Adhere to 11:11 Systems service-management best practices.
• Handle company data and information according to data-handling agreements, procedures, and policies.
• Review and comply with company policies, data-privacy practices, annual compliance training, and policy acknowledgments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or relevant field experience.
• Over 10 years of recent hands-on experience as a Cisco-based network engineer.
• Cisco CCNP/CCIE certified with documented work experience.
• Experience in global data center environments.
• Strong experience in supporting and implementing virtualization clusters (VMware) and software-defined networking, including VMware NSX.
• Expert-level proficiency with Cisco Nexus, Catalyst, ASA/ASR, and F5 LTM, APM, ASM hardware platforms.
• Exceptional troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience managing enterprise-scale, highly available, mission-critical network infrastructure.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Preferred: expert-level knowledge of BGP and OSPF.
• Preferred: familiarity with Citrix, Fortigate, Netscaler, SonicWall, and Juniper equipment.
• Preferred: professional experience in consulting or providing enterprise customer-facing technical support.
• Preferred: senior-level expertise in network design and architecting network topologies for diverse environments.
• Ability to independently pursue positive outcomes for assigned tasks.
