Senior Network Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, migrate, and maintain enterprise and data center networks.

• Develop and resolve issues within Cisco ACI and Cisco ISE environments.

• Collaborate with enterprise firewall technologies, encompassing security policies, NAT, VPNs, routing, and high availability.

• Operate across Layer 2/3 networking, including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VRFs, EVPN/VXLAN, and spine-and-leaf architectures.

• Create high-level designs (HLDs), low-level designs (LLDs), migration strategies, testing plans, and technical documentation.

• Engage directly with customers to gather technical requirements, conduct workshops, and design solutions.

• Assist in complex troubleshooting, upgrades, and customer deployments.

• Collaborate closely with sales and pre-sales teams to formulate technical solutions.

• Share expertise and facilitate the growth of fellow engineers.

• Cultivate specialized knowledge in AI and next-generation data center networking technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A CCIE-level engineer with substantial hands-on experience; CCIE certification is highly beneficial.

• CCNP certification is mandatory.

• Strong practical experience in designing and deploying Cisco ACI.

• Hands-on experience with Cisco ISE, including 802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, and network access control.

• Extensive experience in enterprise/data center networking.

• Familiarity with enterprise firewalls and network security.

• Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.

• Experience in creating technical designs and documentation.

• Excellent communication skills in customer-facing scenarios.

• A curious, proactive mindset and a willingness to learn new technologies.

• Experience with Python, Ansible, or network automation is preferred.

• Must clarify whether sponsorship will be necessary to work in the UK.
