Network Engineer III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and manage extensive multi-vendor, multi-region hybrid cloud networks effectively.

• Oversee the deployment and lifecycle management of data center network infrastructure.

• Propel initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality and speed of network deployments via coding, testing, and validation.

• Collaborate with internal teams to incorporate automation into capacity deployment processes.

• Create scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasks and boost network visibility.

• Apply best practices to ensure the reliability and efficiency of production networks.

• Engage in 24x7 on-call rotations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident.

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in building and managing multi-vendor, multi-region production networks.

• At least 4 years of experience primarily focused on network automation.

• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and infrastructure-as-code, including Ansible, Terraform, and NETCONF/YANG or gNMI/OpenConfig.

• Proficient in writing and maintaining production-quality code in Python or Go.

• Familiarity with Git-based workflows, code reviews, testing, and CI/CD processes.

• Experience working in FedRAMP or other regulated environments.

• Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols, including IPv6, MP-BGP, OSPF, ISIS, EVPN, VxLAN, QoS, IPSEC, and MACsec.

• Practical experience in deploying and supporting public-cloud connectivity, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Demonstrated experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, enhance efficiency, and drive business outcomes.

• Must periodically undergo and successfully pass additional background and fingerprint checks in line with government customer requirements.
