Network Security Infrastructure Engineer, Network Traffic Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Collaborate across departments to create solutions for enterprise application delivery and security platforms.

• Develop infrastructure technologies that fulfill security, resilience, sustainability, and operational requirements.

• Advocate and implement automation for testing and deployment processes.

• Mentor and guide fellow engineers.

• Engage in developmental activities and disseminate engineering best practices.

• Select, design, and sustain network traffic management technologies.

• Create products utilizing contemporary engineering practices and tools.

• Partner with Product Owners on product roadmaps and lifecycle management.

• Assist engineered products in addressing customer feedback and feature requests.

• Troubleshoot production issues and aid customers in utilizing products effectively.

• Design and develop intuitive, self-service infrastructure products.

• Contribute to infrastructure-as-code initiatives.

• Employ design thinking tools and methodologies to enhance products.

• Provide operational support for pattern or product-related challenges.

• Collaborate with key vendors to deliver infrastructure services and technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in platform automation using GitLab CI/CD and Ansible.

• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle.

• Extensive experience with modern infrastructure-as-code tools.

• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and associated toolsets.

• Capability to develop a vision for the Release Train, feature team, platform, and domain.

• Experience in developing CI or CD pipelines with modern tools.

• Knowledge of software testing practices and tools.

• Experience with observability tools and techniques.

• Ability to leverage data, information, and user sentiment for continuous solution improvement.

• Proficient with F5 BIG-IP (LTM, DNS/GTM, Advanced WAF), NGINX Ingress Controller, NGINX App Protect, and Broadcom AVI Load Balancer systems.

• Experience with technology deployed in an on-premise data center.

• Strong collaborative communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to stakeholders.
