Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Manage, enhance, and oversee cloud-based data and analytics infrastructure.

• Guarantee high availability, security, performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness within Azure and Databricks environments.

• Administer and provide support for Microsoft Azure and Azure Databricks environments.

• Implement and sustain infrastructure as code utilizing Terraform and Bicep.

• Ensure security, access management, and adherence to corporate compliance standards.

• Monitor platform availability, capacity, and performance metrics.

• Address critical infrastructure incidents and resolve issues.

• Provide support to Data Engineering, Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence teams.

• Apply FinOps practices to optimize cloud expenditures.

• Define and uphold platform architecture, governance, and observability standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Azure.

• Familiarity with Azure Networking (VNet, Subnet, Private Endpoint, and DNS).

• Knowledge of Azure Storage (ADLS Gen2).

• Understanding of Azure Key Vault.

• Experience with Entra ID (Azure AD).

• Knowledge of RBAC and Identity Management.

• Proficient in Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.

• Experience administering Databricks Workspaces.

• Familiarity with Unity Catalog.

• Knowledge of Cluster Policies.

• Understanding of Jobs and Workflows.

• Knowledge of SQL Warehouses.

• Experience in workload performance and optimization.

• Understanding of Lakehouse architecture.

• Proficient in Terraform.

• Familiarity with Bicep.

• Experience with Git.

• Knowledge of Azure DevOps.

• Familiarity with CI/CD processes.

• Understanding of Information Security.

• Knowledge of Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and compliance.

• Experience with FinOps and cloud cost management.

• Proficient in monitoring and observability.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Microsoft Azure (AZ-104, AZ-305, DP-203) and Databricks certifications.
