This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Architect, develop, and sustain AWS and Azure infrastructure within a multi-account, multi-region setting that supports various product lines.
• Create and oversee Infrastructure as Code utilizing reusable, auditable modules.
• Design and execute cross-account IAM strategies, which include assume-role trust policies, enforcing least-privilege access, and implementing SCP/tagging governance.
• Assist in the planning for capability, scalability, and cost-efficiency regarding both current and anticipated infrastructure requirements.
• Develop, manage, and enhance CI/CD pipelines that facilitate automated, secure, and repeatable IaC deployments across HealthEdge.
• Create custom automation and scripting solutions aimed at minimizing manual effort and enforcing operational standards.
• Monitor, scale, and manage production resources, prioritizing availability, performance, and security.
• Engage in on-call rotations; troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analyses, and participate in incident retrospectives.
• Uphold and enhance security program controls in line with HealthEdge's FedRAMP and HIPAA obligations.
• Assess emerging AI-assisted operational methodologies for relevance to HealthEdge's platform, weighing velocity improvements against compliance and audit prerequisites.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Over 5 years of practical experience in Cloud Engineering, with in-depth knowledge of AWS (EC2, EKS/ECS, IAM, VPC, S3, RDS, CloudWatch).
• Strong background in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation).
• Proven experience in constructing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar).
• Comprehensive knowledge of IAM design patterns, including cross-account access and least-privilege enforcement.
• Familiarity with containerized, cloud-native environments and Kubernetes/EKS.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Salt, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet is crucial.
• Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
• A security-first approach, with experience in integrating security tools within development and deployment processes.
• Exceptional troubleshooting and communication abilities; capable of articulating technical trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences.
