Senior Infrastructure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee and provide support for Windows Server environments and essential infrastructure services.

• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, user accounts, permissions, and identity management.

• Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, licensing, and user support.

• Maintain virtualization environments using VMware and Hyper-V, including provisioning, monitoring, and troubleshooting virtual machines.

• Support physical servers, storage systems, and data center operations.

• Manage backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure consistent business operations.

• Assist with network infrastructure, which includes switches, firewalls, VPN connectivity, and wireless environments.

• Provide Tier II/III technical support and act as an escalation point for complex technical challenges.

• Troubleshoot issues related to infrastructure, applications, hardware, and end-user technology.

• Implement security best practices, system patching, and vulnerability remediation.

• Maintain technical documentation and engage in infrastructure projects and upgrades.

• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to meet the technological needs of the organization and clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 5 years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments.

• Proven experience in providing advanced technical support and troubleshooting.

• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong expertise in Windows Server Administration.

• Extensive experience with Active Directory.

• Proficient in Microsoft 365 Administration.

• Strong background in VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V.

• Solid experience with DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.

• Strong knowledge of backup and recovery solutions.

• Familiarity with storage technologies and data center operations.

• Experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms is preferred.

• Understanding of networking technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, and switching is preferred.

• Experience with PowerShell or automation tools is preferred.

• Relevant certifications such as VMware VCP, Microsoft, CompTIA Server+, Network+, or CCNA are preferred.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
