IT Infrastructure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Engage in a 24x7 shift or End-of-Day (EOD) support framework.

• Deliver prompt monitoring, issue resolution, and on-call assistance for essential business services.

• Offer hands-on support and administration for Automic Workload Automation.

• Oversee, manage, and ensure the successful execution of batch jobs.

• Identify and rectify batch job failures to ensure business continuity.

• Analyze job dependencies, workflow chains, calendars, and execution timetables.

• Provide support and troubleshoot the GoAnywhere Managed File Transfer (MFT) platform.

• Manage and oversee inbound and outbound file transfers.

• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve production incidents related to scheduling, batch processing, and file transfer operations within agreed SLAs.

• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, database, and business teams to address operational challenges and implement lasting solutions.

• Conduct root cause analysis, document discoveries, and recommend preventive measures.

• Assist in change, release, and maintenance activities while ensuring operational stability and compliance with established processes and controls.

⛳️ Requirements

• 10-14 years of relevant experience.

• Willingness to participate in a 24x7 shift or End-of-Day (EOD) support model.

• Proficiency in Automic Workload Automation, including job scheduling, workflow management, and batch processing.

• Experience in monitoring, managing, and troubleshooting batch jobs.

• Understanding of job dependencies, workflow chains, calendars, and execution schedules.

• Familiarity with GoAnywhere Managed File Transfer (MFT).

• Knowledge of SFTP, FTP, FTPS, and various secure file transfer protocols.

• Experience in investigating, diagnosing, and resolving production incidents within agreed SLAs.

• Capability to coordinate with application, infrastructure, database, and business teams.

• Experience in performing root cause analysis and documenting findings.

• Background in supporting change, release, and maintenance activities.

• Ability to follow established processes and controls.
