Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the modernization of continuous integration and delivery pipelines by shifting from Jenkins to Harness.

• Automate software builds and deployments to reduce repetitive manual operational tasks across R&D.

• Design, provision, and sustain high-availability AWS infrastructure including EKS, RDS, S3, and ElastiCache.

• Utilize modular Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes for infrastructure automation.

• Ensure 100% compliance with Infrastructure-as-Code across all platforms.

• Act as an embedded infrastructure expert to support application development teams.

• Resolve deployment issues and upgrade dependencies via the dedicated Ask Infrastructure channel.

• Foster a DevOps culture throughout engineering scrums.

• Improve system telemetry and alerting using Grafana, Prometheus, and the ELK stack.

• Engage in an on-call rotation to uphold platform availability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated success in running production systems on AWS using CLI/API.

• Experience in building modular infrastructure with Terraform.

• Strong hands-on experience with Docker containerization.

• Solid practical experience in managing Kubernetes (EKS).

• Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle.

• Familiarity with Git workflows.

• Experience in build/release automation using Jenkins, Harness, or GitHub Actions.

• Proficient in at least one scripting or programming language: Python, Go, or Bash.

• Nice to have: Direct experience with migrations to the Harness CI/CD platform.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with multi-cloud architectures (GCP/Azure).

• Nice to have: Experience in configuring Grafana, Prometheus, or ELK telemetry stacks.
