Senior Cloud Engineer – Saudi National

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Saudi Arabia.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage Kubernetes clusters, which includes deployment, scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting within production environments.

• Develop and sustain CI/CD pipelines alongside DevOps automation workflows.

• Apply Infrastructure as Code methodologies, such as Terraform, for provisioning and managing configurations across cloud platforms.

• Administer device and endpoint policies using Microsoft Intune, including compliance policies, configuration profiles, and application deployment.

• Supervise the health, performance, and security of infrastructure across cloud and endpoint layers.

• Address incidents and conduct root cause analysis.

• Assist in optimizing cloud costs, resource governance, and adhering to tagging/organization standards across GCP and AWS.

• Collaborate with the internal IT, security, and DevOps teams of the client.

• Keep documentation updated for infrastructure architecture, runbooks, and operational procedures.

• Participate in on-call/operational support rotations as required by the client.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong background in DevOps: Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and scripting/automation (Python, Bash).

• Demonstrated hands-on experience managing Kubernetes in production settings (deployments, Helm, scaling, troubleshooting).

• Practical knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, with a strong preference for Terraform.

• Experience with Microsoft Intune for managing endpoints/devices and ensuring compliance.

• Solid grasp of cloud networking, IAM, and security principles across GCP and AWS.

• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Stackdriver).

• Strong troubleshooting capabilities across infrastructure, application, and network layers.

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting with clear and proactive communication.

• Saudi nationality is a requirement for this role.
