This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Define and uphold the global infrastructure architecture strategy, roadmap, standards, and reference architectures.
• Spearhead architectural planning across various cloud platforms, network, compute, storage, data center, identity, endpoint, collaboration, and infrastructure services.
• Ensure that the infrastructure architecture aligns with business growth, global scalability, regulatory requirements, operational resilience, and cybersecurity standards.
• Collaborate with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, application, data, and business technology teams to synchronize infrastructure capabilities with the overall enterprise technology strategy.
• Assess emerging technologies and propose adoption strategies that enhance agility, reliability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Facilitate the modernization of infrastructure platforms through cloud adoption, automation, infrastructure-as-code, observability, and service standardization.
• Establish architectural frameworks for hybrid and multi-cloud environments, encompassing workload placement, connectivity, security, availability, and governance.
• Assist in transitioning from legacy infrastructure models to scalable, automated, and product-oriented technology services.
• Ensure that technology solutions are crafted for high availability, disaster recovery, performance, compliance, and operational supportability.
• Develop and govern infrastructure design principles, technology standards, lifecycle management practices, and architecture review processes.
• Identify technology risks, technical debt, capacity limitations, and architectural gaps; formulating mitigation and remediation strategies.
• Provide architectural oversight for major infrastructure programs, mergers/acquisitions integrations, site expansions, cloud migrations, and global technology initiatives.
• Assist in vendor evaluation, solution selection, contract input, and strategic partner management.
• Lead and manage infrastructure architecture and/or engineering team members, which includes performance management, development, coaching, and resource planning.
• Offer strategic and technical guidance to direct reports, matrixed teams, vendors, and implementation partners.
• Aid in recruiting, onboarding, mentoring, and promoting the professional development of team members.
• Foster collaboration, transparency, and effective communication among global and cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 12 years of progressive IT experience, including substantial exposure to infrastructure architecture, engineering, cloud platforms, enterprise technology strategy, and global IT environments.
• A minimum of 7 years in leadership roles managing technical teams, architecture teams, or large-scale infrastructure programs.
• Extensive knowledge of cloud architecture, networking, data center technologies, identity services, endpoint platforms, collaboration technologies, automation, disaster recovery, and infrastructure security.
• Experience in designing and overseeing hybrid cloud and multi-cloud environments.
• Strong comprehension of cybersecurity, risk management, regulatory compliance, data protection, and business continuity principles.
• Proven experience in developing enterprise technology roadmaps, architecture standards, reference designs, and governance processes.
• Excellent vendor management, financial acumen, communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
• Ability to influence senior leaders, align competing priorities, and drive decisions within global matrixed teams.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Visio, and enterprise architecture or diagramming tools.
• Strong familiarity with IT service management, cloud management, monitoring, automation, collaboration, and portfolio management platforms.
• Valid driver’s license in applicable countries.
