This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.
• Take ownership of the technical vision and architecture for shared, multi-tenant technology platforms.
• Design and validate solutions based on Azure.
• Break down complex initiatives into manageable tasks that the team can execute independently.
• Collaborate with business and account stakeholders to ensure deliverables align with client and operational requirements.
• Enhance platform reliability, security, and scalability.
• Gain insight into the current platform architecture, technical initiatives, and environmental challenges.
• Foster working relationships with Engineering and Cloud Operations teams.
• Complete architectural spikes or initiatives, document the findings, and ensure a clear handoff to engineers.
• Advance platform reliability, security posture, observability, monitoring, and telemetry.
• Mentor engineers on best practices for Azure architecture.
• Establish reusable architectural patterns and assess AI-assisted development methodologies.
• Over 8 years of experience in cloud engineering and architecture.
• Profound and detailed knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including its monitoring, automation, and platform services.
• Strong background in designing cloud solutions and validating methodologies through focused, time-limited spikes.
• Proven ability to decompose complex and ambiguous tasks into manageable, delegable components and guide delivery through collaboration with others.
• Practical experience with infrastructure-as-code utilizing Bicep or Terraform.
• Proficient in scripting with PowerShell and Python.
• Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to confidently engage and influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders in business-oriented and cross-functional discussions.
• Experience in collaborating with cross-functional and account teams.
• A problem-solving mindset oriented towards reusable patterns.
• Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and KQL.
• Preferred: Experience supporting multiple clients or tenants on a shared platform.
• Preferred: Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks relevant to managed cloud services, including Microsoft Sentinel.
• Preferred: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly with Azure DevOps.
• Preferred: Relevant Azure certifications, such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
