
Senior Clinical Sales Specialist, Trauma

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Propel the Company's sales of orthopedic surgical products by offering clinical and logistical expertise in hospitals and surgical environments.
• Provide independent guidance and assistance to surgeons in the operating room with both clinical and technical support for orthopedic surgical cases.
• Act as the sole representative of the Company for direct customer support during surgical procedures.
• Ensure that all necessary equipment is available and in proper working order.
• Utilize independent judgment to troubleshoot and address physician needs and customer inquiries.
• Manage hospital billing processes and facilitate the creation and closure of purchase orders.
• Relay customer, procedural, and marketplace insights to sales, clinical, marketing, and strategic account teams.
• Prepare necessary sales reports and documentation.
• Offer consultation services for the Operating Room and Sterile Processing Department.
• Maintain, monitor, and efficiently deploy equipment and assets across the assigned region.
• Ensure promotional materials are kept in a presentable state.
• Confirm that DePuy Synthes services and offerings adhere to quality standards.
• Transport instruments, implants, and equipment between sales representatives and hospitals.
• Operate under close management supervision while collaborating with Sales Consultants.
• Bachelor’s Degree, Associate Degree, or Medical Certification (CST, PT, etc.) with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience, OR a minimum of 4 years of professional experience, OR a recent transition from Active Military Duty.
• Willingness to travel within the U.S. as required, including frequent overnight and/or weekend travel.
• Reside in or be willing to relocate to a designated geographic region assigned by the Company.
• Capability to work in a laboratory/operating room setting.
• Possession of a valid driver's license issued in the United States.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, influencing, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with data analysis.
• Ability to work independently and autonomously.
• Proficiency in navigating a complex organizational and team structure.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to understand, interpret, communicate, and thrive in complex environments.
• Functional knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
• Basic understanding of surgical procedures.
• Preferred strong technical knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, protocols, and solutions.
