This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Design and implement the strategy for institutional liquidity distribution and services across the Western Region.
• Comprehend the comprehensive needs of clients and prospects, encompassing pools of investable assets, investment objectives, parameters, and requirements.
• Acquire new business from institutional liquidity investors in the Western Region.
• Foster existing client relationships within the Western Region to establish, grow, and maintain liquidity management clients.
• Collaborate with regional colleagues and internal partners and stakeholders to enhance client engagements and achieve superior results across regions.
• Engage in regular and direct communication with clients and prospects, understand their requirements, and provide tailored solutions.
• Stay informed about Allspring’s overarching business strategy to support firm-wide initiatives.
• Spearhead marketing efforts and client-focused events to enhance Allspring’s visibility in the region and strengthen its brand as a holistic, independent, best-in-class partner.
• Over 15 years of experience in sales and relationship management, specifically engaging directly with institutional clients.
• More than 10 years of direct sales experience with institutional liquidity clients.
• Proven success in sales across pooled products and separately managed accounts, particularly with institutional liquidity investors.
• Experience in assisting clients and prospects with the creation and updates of investment policies.
• Established network of contacts in the Western region of the liquidity/short-duration market.
• In-depth understanding of fixed income markets and the liquidity landscape, including products, competitors, platforms, and regulations.
• Willingness to travel up to 65% of the time.
• Possession of FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses is mandatory.
• Capability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
• Proficiency in operating computer programs and software.
• Effective communication skills with audiences in both in-person and electronic formats.
• Daily interaction with colleagues and/or the public.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a close-knit business environment with peers and navigate various interruptions.
• Extensive knowledge of the asset management industry, including trends and a wide array of complex investment products and solutions.
• Strong, proven sales and relationship management capabilities.
• A demonstrated track record of intellectual curiosity.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship.
• Competitive base salary ranging from $200,000 to $300,000.
• Eligibility for an incentive program tied to performance, which may encompass annual discretionary bonuses or other incentive or sales plans, whether annual or non-annual.
