Senior Client Manager, Commercial Risk – Innovation Practice

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage relationships with carriers on behalf of the organization

• Oversee the service team for major assigned accounts

• Organize key services and create initial placement/renewal strategies

• Aid in establishing and nurturing appropriate carrier relationships

• Conduct marketing activities for designated large accounts

• Prepare or review risk maps for assigned accounts

• Coordinate service delivery

• Complete specialized projects

• Identify opportunities for enhancing the firm, business segment, and processes

• Report issues and discrepancies to the relevant leadership

• Mentor new team members upon request

• Travel as necessary

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred (not mandatory)

• Possesses, or is pursuing, a professional insurance designation

• Minimum of five years of experience with proven proficiency in Account Management

• Strong technical knowledge of general insurance market conditions and specific underwriting appetites of insurance carriers

• Capability to analyze complex risk exposures and existing insurance coverages while developing suitable recommendations

• Exceptional client service and problem-solving abilities

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

• Ability to learn relevant insurance company and firm software programs

• Maintains all necessary licenses as mandated by the State Department of Insurance, or is willing and capable of obtaining all required licenses within the first 90 days of employment

• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to exemplify the organization’s core values and aligned behavior

• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
