Senior Claims Examiner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine.

📋 Description

• Review, research, and resolve medical and dental claims in accordance with established processing guidelines and procedures.

• Analyze claims issues and collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate resolutions.

• Manage multiple priorities while upholding productivity, accuracy, and service-level expectations.

• Communicate claim statuses, workload updates, and potential issues to leadership and business partners.

• Investigate and process claim-related issues utilizing various systems and tools.

• Handle sensitive and confidential information in compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Maintain a standard work schedule from Monday to Friday.

• Experience in healthcare insurance, medical claims processing, claims resolution, or a related healthcare operations environment.

• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Capability to navigate multiple systems for researching and processing claims.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
