This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct thorough and prompt investigations, analyses, and evaluations of complex casualty and environmental claims under the complete range of environmental insurance products.

• Make determinations regarding coverage and prepare written communications to insured parties and other necessary stakeholders.

• Investigate, analyze, document, manage, report, and implement strategies for the efficient and cost-effective resolution of assigned claims.

• Establish and manage reserves effectively.

• Proactively handle litigation and legal counsel, including planning and executing litigation strategies, budgeting, and reviewing and processing bills.

• Represent the company in meetings with management and carriers, as well as during mediation and trial proceedings.

⛳️ Requirements

• A BA/BS degree is required.

• A JD degree is preferred.

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in handling liability and/or clean-up claims, or in a legal capacity.

• Experience with complex auto liability is an advantage.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong experience in coverage analysis and drafting.

• Ability to review, analyze, and assess technical, legal, and medical information effectively.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a talent for cultivating and maintaining productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including insureds, underwriters, legal counsel, and carriers.

• Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.

• High level of initiative and motivation.

• Outstanding time management, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
