This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Formulate and implement the strategy for real estate and facilities management categories.
• Supervise the third-party service provider responsible for lease administration, project management, and facilities management.
• Take ownership of the utilities management category, which includes sourcing strategies, contract oversight, cost management, and performance monitoring.
• Oversee the daily interactions and performance of the outsourced provider in relation to SLAs, KPIs, and cost objectives.
• Collaborate with plant leadership, finance, workplace stakeholders, and senior executives to ensure strategies align with business requirements.
• Manage lease renewals, terminations, and decisions regarding portfolio optimization.
• Direct the execution of capital and facilities projects, ensuring timely, budget-compliant, and specification-adherent delivery.
• Develop and oversee category KPIs and supplier performance scorecards.
• Identify and implement cost-effective solutions in office, showroom, and manufacturing settings.
• Conduct business evaluations with service providers and utility partners.
• Analyze market dynamics related to real estate, construction, and utilities/energy, and formulate mitigation strategies.
• Measure and report on category performance, savings, service levels, and improvements in delivery.
• Negotiate contracts for real estate services, facilities management, and utilities.
• Provide advice to executive stakeholders and translate complex issues into actionable recommendations.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5–7 years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing.
• A preferred focus on real estate management, facilities management, or utilities management.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with an executive presence.
• Ability to influence and build trust with senior stakeholders.
• Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to develop practical solutions.
• Experience in managing relationships with third-party service providers or outsourced vendors.
• Capability to manage multiple geographically dispersed locations and projects simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Results-oriented and analytical, with a focus on driving measurable outcomes.
• Proficient in working effectively in a remote environment.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with utilities/energy sourcing and management.
• Working knowledge or relevant experience in real estate management services, third-party vendor relationship management, and/or facilities management.
