Senior CAD Detailer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Analyze and understand contract drawings and specifications.

• Perform field measurements and produce 2D/3D drawings.

• Utilize AutoCAD to create drawings for both commercial and residential roofing/sheet metal projects.

• Modify existing drawings according to client specifications.

• Organize computer files in DWG, DWF, and PDF formats.

• Support Project Managers and Engineers with pre-construction tasks as required.

• Ensure compliance with constructability, building codes, and weatherproofing/durability standards.

• Generate highly detailed and precise drawings for fabrication and installation teams in the Sheet Metal Sector.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Technical Degree or Certificate in Drafting or equivalent on-the-job experience is essential.

• 2-5 years of relevant work experience is preferred.

• Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD is required.

• Familiarity with Bluebeam Software is advantageous.

• Capability to work independently in a remote setting.

• Strong ability to read and interpret contract drawings and specifications.

• Competence in taking field measurements and creating 2D/3D drawings.

• Skill in managing DWG, DWF, and PDF computer files is necessary.

• Understanding of constructability, building code compliance, and weatherproofing/durability is required.

• Candidates must successfully complete employment verification and background checks prior to onboarding.
