• Design, develop, and enhance the low-latency hot path for automated and electronic trading utilizing modern C++.
• Create and sustain market-data infrastructure, which includes feed handlers, ticker plant, order-book assembly, and normalization.
• Implement connectivity to exchanges and manage FIX-based order flow, incorporating smart-order-routing components.
• Minimize tick-to-trade latency through the use of lock-free data structures, cache- and NUMA-aware designs, and kernel-bypass networking.
• Analyze, measure, and eliminate latency and jitter across the entire stack.
• Convert trader and quant execution requirements into efficient, reliable production code.
• Take ownership of components from start to finish, ensuring reliability, observability, and effective incident response.
• Collaborate with traders and quantitative researchers at a leading global trading firm.
• Around 6+ years of professional experience in C++ engineering focused on production low-latency systems.
• Proficiency in modern C++, with a minimum of C++17 and a preference for C++20.
• Experience in low-latency environments within traditional financial services, such as proprietary trading, market-making, high-frequency trading, investment-bank electronic trading, or systematic hedge funds.
• Direct experience with market data, feed handlers, or electronic trading.
• Practical knowledge of lock-free programming, multicast, low-level networking, and performance profiling.
• Comfortable working remotely and adhering to a 12-month contract structure.
• Must possess the right to work in the country of residence; sponsorship is not available.
• Kernel-bypass experience with Solarflare/Onload or DPDK is a plus.
• Experience with NUMA/cache-aware design is desirable.

• Extended tenure in a single high-demand low-latency environment is advantageous.
• A traditional trading background is necessary; experience solely in crypto low-latency environments is not suitable.
• Experience with production low-latency systems is essential; purely academic or research-focused C++ experience is not appropriate.
• 12-month contract that can transition to a full-time/permanent position after 12 months based on mutual agreement.
• Highly competitive compensation, aligned with top-tier trading firm rates.
• Human involvement in recruitment decisions.
• No solely automated hiring processes.
