Senior Business Travel Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sweden.

📋 Description

• Assist corporate travelers with their bookings and travel-related services.

• Manage intricate itineraries, including ticketing, reissues, refunds, and alternative travel options.

• Take complete ownership of cases from initiation to resolution.

• Offer proactive guidance and pinpoint the best solutions for travelers.

• Uphold high standards of service and quality throughout the travel experience.

• Suggest alternative travel options based on factors such as travel time, cost, environmental impact, or specific customer needs.

• Collaborate with corporate negotiated fares, customer travel policies, and agreements.

• Deliver customer service through phone and email communication.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Swedish.

• Excellent spoken and written English skills.

• At least 3 years of verifiable experience with Amadeus; ideally 5 years or more.

• Strong and current knowledge of Amadeus.

• Capability to independently manage multi-stop bookings, complex routings, manual rebookings, reissues, and Refund Applications (RA).

• Solid understanding of IATA regulations and ticketing procedures.

• Familiarity with fares, fare rules, ticketing regulations, and restrictions related to changes and refunds.

• Previous experience in the business travel sector and working with corporate clients.

• Experience in booking and applying corporate negotiated fares and conditions.

• Experience adhering to customer-specific travel policies and agreements.

• Good knowledge of European rail bookings and associated booking systems.

• Ability to autonomously manage complex cases and identify appropriate solutions with minimal internal support.

• Experience in providing customer service via phone and email.

• Strong geographical knowledge.

• Experience with public sector clients or large corporate accounts is advantageous.

• Experience with hotel, rail, and car rental bookings, as well as overseeing the complete business travel experience, is a plus.
