Senior Business Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Construct and link systems that facilitate Engine’s go-to-market strategies.

• Create CRM, engagement, enrichment, automation, integrations, internal tools, and cross-platform workflows.

• Deploy changes via git and CI/CD processes instead of manual deployments.

• Integrate AI into production workflows to minimize manual effort.

• Utilize coding tools such as Cursor or Claude Code, ensuring thorough review and testing.

• Collaborate with teams across RevOps, Sales, Growth, and Engineering.

• Convert business challenges into sustainable systems.

• Contribute to shaping the future processes of the Business Systems team.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as a business systems or GTM systems engineer (or a comparable role).

• Proven experience in building, integrating, and automating systems, moving beyond simple ticket administration.

• Proficient in coding for scripting, APIs, and light application development.

• Capable of assessing when no-code or low-code solutions are adequate.

• Hands-on familiarity with git and CI/CD methodologies.

• Experience in deploying AI automations or agents, along with significant use of AI coding tools in production environments.

• Knowledge of a modern GTM stack, encompassing CRM, sequencing/engagement, enrichment, and iPaaS/integration layers.

• Experience with Salesforce is advantageous, though not mandatory.

• Ability to articulate technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders without excessive jargon.

• Salesforce Admin or Platform Developer certifications, a background in travel/marketplace, Data Cloud/Agentforce experience, or aiding a systems team in adopting engineering practices are preferred but not essential.
