Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst – HB Claims

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Implement, modify, test, and manage revenue cycle system applications.

• Act as a bridge between vendors, IT staff, application analysts, management, and end users.

• Evaluate end-user requirements and propose and document necessary system or procedural modifications.

• Generate standard, customized, and ad hoc application reports.

• Conduct analytical tasks, documentation, testing, and comprehensive analysis for system efficiency.

• Execute team and integrated testing for billing systems and interfaces.

• Develop, test, and oversee Epic revenue cycle modules, Claims Manager, systems, interfaces, and billing procedures.

• Identify system specifications and align system designs with user requirements.

• Maintain system parameter and reference tables, enhancement logs, and associated records.

• Serve as the primary contact for revenue cycle information system performance concerns.

• Investigate, document, and facilitate the resolution of end-user problems.

• Review, research, test, and implement system updates and user maintenance across various systems.

• Assist in the development and testing of third-party billing charge-file and master-file systems.

• Research and utilize third-party software to develop programming logic for operational processes.

• Create reference materials and aid in the preparation of training documentation.

• Provide 24 x 7 support, including early morning and evening on-call duties.

• Comply with and enforce Carle Foundation's administrative and departmental policies and procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's Degree in a related field, such as Computer Science, Finance, or Accounting.

• Obtain Epic certification within 2 months.

• Experience working in revenue cycle.

• In-depth knowledge of revenue cycle billing system modules.

• Strong understanding of project planning methodologies.

• General familiarity with CPT, ICD codes, HCPCS, and HIPAA Transaction Code Sets.

• Capability to support 24 x 7 environments and engage in on-call responsibilities.

• Proficiency in system development, testing, maintenance, and user support.

• Ability to investigate and resolve end-user challenges effectively.

• Skill in creating ad hoc reports and application report templates.
