Senior Business Systems Analyst – Legal and Compliance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Collect and document business requirements for issues, enhancements, and projects.

• Configure the enterprise Intelex application to align with business requirements.

• Implement solutions that assist business units in achieving their strategic goals.

• Test and monitor business requirements throughout the implementation process.

• Analyze business strategies and user needs.

• Document business processes and convert business objectives into system requirement specifications.

• Define the scope and objectives of systems through research, fact-finding, and evaluating available IT solutions.

• Assess existing applications and business processes to identify opportunities for improvement.

• Manage support activities for current functionality, enhancements, system and integration testing, and user acceptance testing.

• Present technical solutions that improve company products and services.

• Provide daily support for IT processes and applications that enable Legal Operations and Corporate Compliance.

• Deliver training for new users on supported applications as requested.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience, education, and training.

• Over 4 years of experience in business systems analysis.

• Experience in custom configuration, development, and implementation specifically with the Intelex application (EHS solution).

• Proven experience in documenting business requirements, test plans, test cases, and training materials.

• High proficiency in the Microsoft Office 365 application suite.

• Experience with data mapping and integration.

• Background in regulated industries, supporting software applications and processes.

• Agile project management experience and/or Scrum Certification.

• Familiarity with the software development life cycle (SDLC).

• Knowledge of the agriculture business and industry.

• Understanding of ERP systems such as SAP, JD Edwards, or Great Plains.

• Must pass required pre-employment screenings if applicable.
