This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Design, develop, test, and implement dashboards throughout the agency.
• Act as a bridge between clinical staff and the Dashboard Building and EHR team to convert clinical requirements into dashboard and reporting tools.
• Assist in creating tools, workflows, and training materials for both technical teams and dashboard users.
• Maintain reports related to dashboard users, staff training, and various measurement-based care implementation metrics.
• Develop visually appealing and user-friendly dashboards that communicate KPIs and metrics while facilitating data-driven decision-making and clinical outcome evaluation.
• Promote the professional growth of other Business Systems Analysts by providing teaching, training, and enhancing dashboard-building capabilities.
• Engage in the dashboard development processes, including data identification, retrieval, processing, cleaning, and modeling.
• Tailor dashboards for various programs and projects within the organization.
• Keep published dashboards up to date and maintained.
• Address and resolve issues related to dashboard access and operations.
• Manage confidential and sensitive data securely in accordance with agency policies and legal protection regulations.
• Work collaboratively with agency staff, the EHR manager, and the team to integrate EHR data.
• Support the development and delivery of training on dashboard usage.
• Quickly troubleshoot and resolve issues related to dashboard access or program operations.
• Travel between sites as necessary.
• Previous experience as a business analyst in the healthcare sector.
• Proficiency in defining and measuring key performance indicators associated with client or population health and the effectiveness of healthcare services.
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, statistics, analytics, or a related field is required.
• A master's degree is preferred.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in Business Systems is required; 2 to 4 years is preferred.
• Familiarity with SQL databases, query development, and SQL Server Reporting Services.
• A working knowledge of Business Intelligence applications and reporting technologies.
• Experience in programming with R and/or Python is preferred.
• Capability to gather data from databases, spreadsheets, and data warehouses and integrate it into dashboards for real-time updates.
• Experience in developing dashboards using Power BI is preferred, or similar software such as Tableau.
• Must pass state-required background and DMV checks.
• Ability to work independently and adapt flexibly under general supervision.
• Sufficient business experience to meet the demands of the position.
• Proficiency in various software applications.
• Ability to use email, write documents, and save and organize documents electronically.
• Capability to learn the organization's Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
• Proficiency in Word and other MS Office applications is preferred.
