Senior Business Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the functional health and forward-looking roadmap for QED's Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform, which supports sales and service, as well as Business Central ERP for finance, supply chain, and production.

• Configure Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, including tables, forms, views, business rules, and business process flows.

• Manage security roles, business units, field-level security, user provisioning, and license assignments.

• Collaborate with Sales leadership to design and refine the lead-to-opportunity-to-quote process.

• Set up Business Central across finance, inventory, purchasing, sales order processing, and production modules.

• Maintain item master records, bills of material, routings, costing methods, and dimension structures.

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes in collaboration with Finance, troubleshooting posting, costing, and reconciliation issues.

• Assess Business Central release waves, validate features in the sandbox, and coordinate cutover activities.

• Lead process mapping and value stream analysis for order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and quote-to-delivery workflows.

• Utilize Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to minimize cycle time and manual handling prior to configuring system solutions.

• Define and monitor process KPIs, publishing improvement results and realized benefits.

• Facilitate kaizen events and requirements workshops with stakeholders from Sales, Finance, Operations, Engineering, and Quality.

• Act as the escalation point for Tier 2 and Tier 3 functional issues.

• Manage relationships with VAR/partners and support backlog management.

• Create training materials, standard operating procedures, and system documentation; provide onboarding support.

• Lead systems change control processes, including intake, prioritization, testing, and release approval.

• Support audit and compliance requirements, focusing on segregation of duties, access reviews, and regulated data handling.

• Define functional requirements for integrations and validate integrated data with the integration owner.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• A minimum of seven years in business systems analysis, ERP/CRM administration, or functional consulting.

• Proven functional ownership of both a CRM platform and Business Central.

• Strong expertise in order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, inventory management, and standard costing.

• Demonstrated ability to extract requirements from non-technical stakeholders and translate them into documented processes and system configurations.

• Experience in leading a system implementation, upgrade, or migration from start to finish.

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification, or a track record of leading continuous improvement initiatives.

• Microsoft certifications: MB-800 (Business Central Functional Consultant), MB-210 (Sales), and MB-230 (Customer Service).

• Experience in manufacturing, particularly in discrete or engineer-to-order production environments.

• Familiarity with AL and extension development concepts for scoping, reviewing, and validating partner work.

• Experience in a regulated or defense supply chain environment (ITAR/EAR, CMMC, AS9100, or ISO 9001).
