This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +15 more states.
• Conduct analyses and interpretations to align business needs and objectives across appeals operations.
• Facilitate business initiatives by analyzing appeals data, validating information, identifying trends, recognizing implementation challenges, and performing user acceptance testing across various systems.
• Assess and analyze user requirements, processes, and issues to enhance current operations.
• Execute in-depth analyses on multiple projects, including root cause assessments and compliance monitoring.
• Propose potential business solutions and ensure their effective implementation.
• Explore methods to improve performance management and operational reports across various markets, business lines, and appeals service areas.
• Collaborate with different business units and departments to develop and deliver training programs.
• Create, disseminate, and integrate organizational best practices into business applications.
• Identify issues and opportunities for process redesign and enhancement.
• Develop and update departmental policies and procedures.
• Act as the subject matter expert for the assigned function and appeals reporting processes to guarantee operational efficiency.
• Undertake other responsibilities as assigned.
• Adhere to all company policies and standards.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without requiring employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Experience in appeals is highly desirable, including familiarity with appeals processes, compliance standards, and appeals data.
• Proficient in advanced Excel functionalities.
• Experience with large datasets, data validation, trend analysis, operational reporting, and root cause analysis is strongly preferred.
• Preferred skills include strong analytical abilities, problem-solving capabilities, effective communication, and presentation skills.
• Preference for candidates located remotely within the Central Time Zone.
• Willingness to travel is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience is necessary.
• 4-6 years of experience in business process or data analysis, preferably within the healthcare sector.
• Project management experience is advantageous.
