Senior Business Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and analyze tickets from a queue, ensuring timely follow-up on requests while adhering to established SLAs.

• Work collaboratively with team members to resolve issues either independently or as part of a group.

• Provide updates to stakeholders throughout the issue resolution process.

• Evaluate business impact and escalate critical issues when necessary.

• Document and adhere to standard operating procedures for production troubleshooting and incident management.

• Utilize AI tools for effective issue resolution and documentation.

• Comprehend system design, guide others through complex business logic, and troubleshoot issues related to calculations, integrations, and backend data.

• Identify and manage defects in collaboration with vendors and engineering teams to find and implement solutions.

• Work across teams to grasp system functionality and architecture, resolve issues, and document solutions in a knowledge base.

• Analyze process and system challenges and suggest improvements, including opportunities for automation.

• Define alerts, monitors, and logging requirements necessary for identifying, troubleshooting, and preventing issues.

• Be available to work occasional evenings during special events.

• Participate in rotating weekend on-call shifts to address urgent issues and provide backup coverage.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in an ad sales system.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting software, system integrations, and various technology issues.

• Experience with SQL.

• Proven ability in customer interactions and maintaining positive relationships.

• Flexibility to accommodate a varied work schedule for operational needs and special event coverage.

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, IS, or a related technical field.

• Self-motivated and accountable, demonstrating a strong commitment to responsibility.

• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; able to collaborate effectively across multiple groups.

• Experience in providing automated solutions (scripting, testing, RPA, etc.).

• Familiarity with modern technology solutions (APIs, data streams, microservices).
