This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collect and evaluate data from working groups.
• Recognize existing processes and pinpoint areas for enhancement.
• Investigate best practices and outline functional requirements for the software development team.
• Collaborate with the Pricing team to gather, assess, and document business requirements for the new CPQ system.
• Convert intricate pricing logic into comprehensive functional requirements for developers.
• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT/software engineering teams.
• Work alongside developers to clarify requirements, address inquiries, and ensure precise implementation.
• Validate delivered functionalities through testing, quality assurance support, and subject matter expert testing.
• Keep documentation updated regarding pricing logic, workflows, and system behavior within the CPQ platform.
• Spot opportunities to enhance processes, automation, and system functionalities.
• Assist with ongoing improvements, defect triage, and prioritization of backlog items.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and escalate relevant issues to senior management.
• Communicate effectively with business subject matter experts and delivery teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is required.
• ISEB qualified Business Analyst is preferred.
• 3–7+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst.
• Experience in an agile environment and familiarity with recognized development methodologies such as Agile, SCRUM, or KANBAN.
• Experience with CPQ tools, including custom-built platforms or Salesforce CPQ and Oracle CPQ.
• Strong comprehension of pricing strategies, discounting, or revenue management concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to convert complex business processes into technical requirements.
• Experience in writing functional requirements documents.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across business and technical teams.
• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
