This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.
• Take ownership of and analyze tickets from a queue, ensuring timely follow-up on requests and adherence to established SLAs.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve issues either independently or collectively while keeping stakeholders informed.
• Evaluate business impact and escalate critical issues as needed.
• Document and adhere to standard operating procedures for production troubleshooting and incident management.
• Utilize AI tools for effective issue resolution and documentation processes.
• Comprehend system design to assist others with intricate business logic and troubleshoot issues related to calculations, integrations, and backend data.
• Identify and address defects in collaboration with vendors and engineering teams to implement effective solutions.
• Work with teams to grasp system functionality and architecture, resolve problems, document knowledge-base content, and enhance overall system understanding.
• Analyze processes and system issues, recommending improvements, including opportunities for automation.
• Define necessary alerts, monitoring, and logging to identify, troubleshoot, and prevent potential problems.
• Be available for occasional evening work during special events.
• Participate in rotating weekend on-call shifts to manage urgent issues and provide backup coverage.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in an ad sales system.
• Familiarity with a unified ad business management platform, such as Operative.One.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting software, system integrations, and various technology-related issues.
• Experience with SQL.
• Proven track record of positive customer interactions and relationship management.
• Willingness to maintain a flexible work schedule for operational needs and special event coverage.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, IS, or a related technical discipline.
• Self-driven and accountable, demonstrating a strong commitment to responsibilities.
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; ability to work across diverse teams.
• Experience in delivering automated solutions, including scripting, testing, or RPA.
• Familiarity with modern technology solutions, inclusive of APIs, data streams, and microservices.
