Senior Business Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in an Agile setting to gather and document business requirements for software development initiatives.

• Provide mentorship to junior and mid-level analysts while offering technical guidance.

• Transform business needs into user stories that align with project objectives.

• Facilitate effective communication between business stakeholders and development teams.

• Evaluate existing systems and processes to pinpoint opportunities for improvement and increased efficiency.

• Review story requirements and confirm system functionality.

• Participate in implementations, troubleshoot issues, perform impact analysis, and suggest solutions.

• Discuss system enhancements with project stakeholders.

• Develop flow diagrams and document technical solutions.

• Commit to ongoing learning and adaptation to modern technologies, industry best practices, and new trends in business analysis and Agile methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.

• Over 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or a similar background in the technology industry.

• Skilled in identifying and resolving business challenges through innovative and practical solutions.

• Strong communication abilities for clearly conveying technical information to all organizational levels.

• Experienced in collecting, documenting, and managing system requirements from stakeholders.

• In-depth understanding of complex multi-platform applications and systems.

• Proficient in communication and documentation skills for creating comprehensive reports, manuals, workflows, and specifications.

• Capable of managing tasks, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.

• Ability to adjust to changes in project scope, requirements, or technology.

• Experience in the financial industry is preferred.

• Prior experience in production support and troubleshooting is preferred.

• QA or Developer experience is preferred.

• Experience as a Quality Engineer, Software Engineer, Product Owner, or Scrum Master within an Agile Development Team is preferred.
