Senior Business Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +22 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver advanced technical expertise and support for systems, applications, and procedural challenges.

• Assess, analyze, and formulate solutions and business processes for operational systems.

• Determine and evaluate the business impacts of proposed solutions.

• Address substantial and intricate production system issues.

• Offer systems analysis proficiency and evaluate the business implications of technological changes.

• Coordinate user support for on-demand inquiries, questions, and service requests.

• Ensure the effectiveness of reporting and data tools.

• Collaborate with IT to manage system support processes and resolve production support challenges.

• Document, monitor, and report on system support activities.

• Gather and document business requirements, and create functional specifications.

• Serve as the Business Lead/Coordinator for large, complex projects and initiatives.

• Manage project intake, scheduling, implementation, post-implementation support, and technical specification reviews.

• Act as the primary contact for business testing and influence the testing strategy.

• Analyze and validate results; offer impact assessments and recommendations.

• Train and mentor others on testing protocols, execution, and test plan development.

• Assist IT with hardware and software upgrades, security modifications, and architectural improvements.

• Configure and maintain essential system tables and data elements.

• Analyze, develop, and implement configuration adjustments to enhance system performance and user efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (if required), or 7+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.

• 5+ years of experience in a related field.

• Must not require employment authorization sponsorship.

• Preferred knowledge of the Genesys application.

• Experience in supporting complex enterprise systems within a healthcare or health insurance setting.

• Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications, process flows, and technical solutions.

• Experience with production support, system configuration, testing, and implementation tasks.
