Senior Business Process Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Provide specialized knowledge on strategies for continuous process improvement, organizational redesign, change management initiatives, and performance metrics.

• Define and establish business processes, policies, roles and responsibilities, as well as performance indicators.

• Execute current-state analysis, gap analysis, benchmarking, identification of best practices, and organizational assessments.

• Plan and carry out process enhancements, including future-state design, change management, and transition planning.

• Collaborate with customers, computer services, client services, and other project areas.

• Supervise the development and upkeep of quality programs, systems, processes, and procedures.

• Utilize Agile and SAFe methodologies to align strategy, manage portfolios, enhance collaboration, and expedite value delivery.

• Interpret policies, regulatory and governmental regulations, and agency guidelines to ensure compliance.

• Provide consistent oversight of process analysis for operating entities.

• Coordinate with business and technology teams to determine system requirements.

• Conduct client interviews.

• Present and deliver training sessions on measurement, analysis, improvement, and control.

• Execute cost-benefit analyses.

• Offer technical solutions to complex problems and independently formulate solution approaches.

• Contribute to specific programs and projects.

• Represent the organization by providing solutions to challenging technical issues.

• Guide employees in accordance with established policies and management directives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with twenty (20) years or more of experience; or Master’s degree with ten (10) years or more of experience.

• A degree in engineering or a related scientific or technical field is mandatory.

• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

• Demonstrated success in leading and delivering complex projects.

• Expertise in gathering and documenting business requirements, business processes, and workflows.

• Skilled in creating functional specifications, user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams.

• Experience with business modeling techniques and tools such as UML and BPMN.

• Proficient in Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, or comparable documentation tools.

• Familiar with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

• Experienced with JIRA, Microsoft Project, or similar project management and tracking tools.

• Understanding of database concepts and basic querying capabilities.

• Experience in data analysis, interpretation, and presenting findings.

• Proficient in Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar data analysis tools.

• Ability to translate technical information into business language for non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong presentation skills and experience in facilitating workshops and meetings.

• Capable of identifying problems, proposing solutions, and making decisions based on sound judgment.

• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

• Proven ability to lead and mentor junior analysts and team members.

• Experience in managing and coordinating cross-functional project teams.

• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, projects, and tasks.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

• Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, standards, and best practices.

• Ability to stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.

• Capability to understand customer needs and deliver solutions that meet business goals.

• Strong documentation skills for maintaining project records, business requirements, and process flows.

• Commitment to continuous improvement and learning.

• Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and work environments.

• Experience with FHiR, HL7, or EDI X12 transactions, specifically 278 and 275, is advantageous.

• Advanced certifications such as CBAP, PMP, Six Sigma, CSM, or SAFe SCRUM MASTER are preferred.
