Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams, including Sales, Customer Service, Finance, IT, and the Warehouse, to facilitate daily operations.

• Identify opportunities for improvement and assist in implementing changes that enhance business value.

• Collect business requirements, perform needs assessments, and create functional specifications.

• Act as a bridge between development teams and internal/external customers or end users.

• Convey requirements through specifications, statements of work, project plans, and other documentation.

• Work with developers, quality assurance teams, and users to test processes, ensuring functionality and user acceptance.

• Produce Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), and other business analysis documentation.

• Convert business needs into functional specifications for system enhancements or workflow modifications.

• Document current-state and future-state process maps, data flows, and system interactions.

• Develop and sustain documentation for business processes, system configurations, and training materials.

• Troubleshoot user issues and escalate them as necessary.

• Assist in project planning, execution, and the completion of organizational initiatives.

• Conduct data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities for performance improvement.

• Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and industry standards, particularly within the healthcare sector.

• Provide hands-on support for business systems with a focus on order processing and customer fulfillment.

• Aid in configuration updates and associated operational tasks.

• Support business teams during system testing and validation stages.

• Create and maintain operational reports and dashboards.

• Analyze transactional data to reveal trends or gaps affecting Order-to-Cash (O2C) performance.

• Engage in system enhancements, including requirement validation, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support, and monitoring during go-live phases.

• Assist with integrations involving other systems by collaborating with third-party vendors and internal developers.

• Develop user guides, process documentation, and training materials.

• Facilitate training for end users on new functionalities or system updates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong grasp of Order-to-Cash processes, encompassing order management, billing, collections, and revenue recognition.

• Familiarity with healthcare applications, SQL, and project management methodologies.

• Exceptional communication skills; capable of interacting with both technical teams and business users.

• Detail-oriented with robust organizational abilities and the capability to manage multiple priorities.

• Proficient in analyzing complex issues, identifying root causes, and devising effective solutions.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to pinpoint areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.

• Ability to work autonomously while also collaborating within a team environment.

• No color visual deficiency.

• 3+ years of experience as a business analyst, preferably within the healthcare or related industries.

• 3 years of experience in OTC processes and applications in healthcare.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field.

• Experience with Agile project management methodologies.

• Proficient in using ServiceNow Agile, Jira, and Excel.
