Senior Business Process Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist project and product delivery teams, reporting directly to the Manager of IT Business Analysis.

• Grasp user requirements, business systems, and industry standards.

• Record requirements as epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria for prioritized development tasks.

• Engage with internal clients to gather functional requirements.

• Organize and lead meetings with Business, Design, Development, and other relevant teams.

• Aid in documenting system inputs, processes, outputs, interface mappings, and current versus future business processes.

• Advise on functional testing of system changes.

• Ensure project traceability by documenting requirements and linking test cases to them.

• Assist in capturing defects and linking root causes during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Support pre-release testing to confirm that delivered features meet agreed-upon capabilities.

• Help with training documentation and product information for the business.

• Collaborate with the Design Team during the Agile Playbook Discovery process.

• Participate in programs aimed at enhancing internal controls or improving client service and support.

• Provide support for RFPs through high-level requirements gathering, flow mapping, and demonstrations.

• Assist in developing business cases, conducting business analyses, and performing feasibility studies for technology projects.

• Carry out other assigned duties and projects.

• Not a technical analyst but a business analyst with some technical background or experience.

• Strong experience with ADO.

• Adaptable, stepping in wherever needed within the team.

• Quick to learn across various areas/products; must become a subject matter expert (SME) on the product.

• Coordination skills to facilitate collaboration among cross-functional teams.

• Experience in understanding functional requirements and converting them into epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Proven experience in organizing and leading cross-functional meetings.

• Familiarity with documenting business processes, including current and future states, system inputs, processes, outputs, and interface mapping.

• Background in functional testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), test cases, defects, and requirements traceability.

• Experience in supporting Agile discovery and user requirement activities.

• Capability to assist with RFPs, business cases, business analyses, and feasibility studies.

• Ability to work remotely with quarterly travel commitments.

• Must be ready to step in immediately.
