This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan, +1 more state.
• Identify, qualify, and cultivate new customer and application opportunities that align with growth objectives.
• Establish and sustain a pipeline of prospects, new projects, and emerging market opportunities.
• Collaborate with Marketing to identify market trends, address unmet customer needs, and target strategic growth segments.
• Work with Technical Service & Development to assess application feasibility, assist with product trials, and expedite commercialization.
• Formulate and implement market penetration strategies for new applications and customer accounts.
• Engage with customer decision-makers and influencers to foster relationships and reveal opportunities.
• Collect, analyze, and disseminate market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer feedback.
• Lead opportunities from initial prospecting through qualification, value proposition development, proposal formulation, and commercial launch.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams on new business development initiatives.
• Assist in forecasting, pipeline management, and business planning related to growth projects and customer acquisition.
• Achieve growth targets through acquiring new customers, developing applications, and expanding into markets.
• Stay informed about industry trends, customer technologies, and competitive offerings.
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E5, Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class, or Sergeant level.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Eligibility to work legally in the United States.
• No visa sponsorship or support is available, including for any U.S. permanent residency process.
• A preferred degree in Business, Engineering, Chemistry, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience in B2B sales, business development, market development, or application development.
• Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities.
• Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across Marketing, Technical Service & Development, Product Management, and Supply Chain.
• Proficient relationship-building, influencing, and negotiation skills.
