This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +6 more states.
β’ Drive sales growth in both existing and new accounts by understanding customer needs, engaging in the development of client strategies, and presenting new products and services.
β’ Persuade potential customers to purchase products by mastering the sales process and identifying and targeting market and niche opportunities.
β’ Strengthen client relationships by offering support, insights, and guidance.
β’ Investigate and propose new opportunities along with improvements in profit and service.
β’ Assist leadership in identifying opportunities or enhancements.
β’ Act as a subject matter expert in addressing complex challenges and issues.
β’ Leverage extensive knowledge of business arrangements, both financial and contractual.
β’ Analyze financial trends and variations with assigned clients, communicating issues and resolutions to clients and channel representatives.
β’ Serve as a consultant to other channels and utilities within Assurant.
β’ Conduct both online and in-person sales presentations while executing client agreements.
β’ Oversee the sales pipeline effectively.
β’ Manage responsibilities for the Midwest territory, which includes Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of combined experience in business development, enterprise sales, or strategic relationship management within multifamily or single-family housing, commercial real estate, or a closely related domain.
β’ Advanced networking skills with a proven ability to cultivate deep, meaningful, and robust relationships.
β’ Demonstrated capacity to utilize housing industry knowledge and key professional connections to create business opportunities, influence senior stakeholders, and foster business growth.
β’ Established relationships with C-suite or executive-level decision-makers within the multifamily or single-family housing sector.
β’ Experience in supporting large housing portfolios or managing complex, long-cycle commercial opportunities.
β’ Comprehensive understanding of multifamily operations, asset management, real estate investment, or portfolio economics.
β’ Willingness to travel up to 40% annually.
