This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Take ownership of and implement the business development strategy for biometrics to meet and surpass revenue objectives.
• Identify, assess, and secure new business opportunities in the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors.
• Lead intricate deal pursuits, encompassing both end-to-end and functional service provider models.
• Construct and manage the sales pipeline within Salesforce for precise forecasting and reporting.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders in areas such as data management, clinical operations, biometrics, and procurement.
• Cultivate strategic account relationships to facilitate growth and client retention.
• Direct executive-level presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations.
• Collaborate with biometrics, delivery, and product leadership to ensure offerings are aligned with market demands.
• Convert client challenges into unique biometrics solutions.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with operations, finance, and legal teams to develop commercially viable deals.
• Contribute to pricing strategies, deal structures, and service innovations.
• Represent the biometrics business as a senior ambassador both internally and externally.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Over 5 years of combined experience in data management, life sciences, technology, or business development within the pharma/biotech sector, CROs, or life sciences services is preferred.
• Proven success in selling biometrics services, including biostatistics, statistical programming, data management, and analytics.
• Demonstrated ability to close large, complex, multi-year contracts.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills at the executive level.
• An established network within biometric organizations in biotech and pharmaceuticals is preferred.
• Experience with functional service provider (FSP), hybrid, or strategic partnership models is preferred.
• A solid understanding of the clinical trial lifecycle and regulatory environment is preferred.
• Strong strategic thinking and commercial acumen.
• Capable of building relationships with an executive-level presence.
