
Senior Business Development Manager – MedTech

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.
• Take charge of strategic and operational business development across global markets.
• Discover, nurture, and secure new business opportunities with prominent MedTech OEMs around the globe.
• Concentrate on implant systems, surgical instruments, and high-precision components for highly regulated applications.
• Establish and sustain long-term relationships with customers at the management and decision-maker levels.
• Examine market trends, customer requirements, and technological advancements.
• Provide customers with insights on technical manufacturing and material solutions.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, Engineering, and Production teams to execute customer projects.
• Assist local sales teams during the quotation and sales processes.
• Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and customer events.
• Maintain and enhance the sales pipeline and CRM system.
• Compile market, competitive, and sales analyses for management review.
• Technical training or degree in materials engineering, medical technology, or a similar qualification.
• Minimum of 10 years of international experience in business development, sales, or key account management within the medical technology field, with a demonstrated record of success.
• Profound knowledge of implants, surgical instruments, medical components, or similar MedTech products.
• Extensive understanding of materials, manufacturing technologies, and industrial production processes.
• Strong grasp of technical drawings and specifications.
• An entrepreneurial mindset with a robust customer focus.
• Capability to convincingly communicate complex technical issues to management-level audiences.
• Independent, organized, and solution-oriented work approach.
• High level of self-motivation and enthusiasm for pursuing new business opportunities in an international context.
• Experience with modern CRM systems is beneficial.
• Fluency in English and French is required; knowledge of German is a plus.
• Willingness to travel: 60–80%.
