This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Lead business development initiatives within a designated portfolio of Financial Services accounts.
• Identify, assess, and secure complex, high-value, multi-year commercial opportunities.
• Create and implement strategic account plans that align with customer priorities and cyber resilience goals.
• Cultivate and maintain an understanding of the Financial Services sector, cyber security challenges, workforce capability needs, and regulatory developments.
• Establish SANS as a trusted strategic partner that enhances operational resilience, cyber maturity, and professional growth.
• Foster relationships with CISOs, CIOs, Heads of Security, Risk, Compliance, HR, Learning & Development, and Procurement.
• Enhance existing customer programs through cross-selling and strategic account management.
• Develop long-term relationships with senior decision-makers and influencers.
• Oversee customer engagement from opportunity identification to contract execution and program delivery.
• Serve as the primary commercial point of contact for strategic customer interactions.
• Conduct executive business reviews to optimize satisfaction, retention, and growth.
• Facilitate customer onboarding and ensure measurable program value.
• Represent SANS at industry conferences, cyber security forums, and customer events.
• Manage the qualification process, solution development, pricing, proposals, contracts, and commercial negotiations.
• Maintain opportunity management, forecasting, and pipeline reporting utilizing Salesforce.
• Navigate intricate procurement and governance processes.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success, Product Management, and other internal stakeholders.
• Support marketing initiatives, executive briefings, and customer events.
• Ensure compliance with commercial governance standards.
• Monitor developments in cyber security, operational resilience, regulatory changes, and emerging threats.
• Share market intelligence, customer insights, and competitive data.
• Achieve agreed revenue targets, KPIs, and strategic objectives.
• Lead commercial responses to RFPs, tenders, and procurement processes.
• Advocate for the SANS brand, mission, and values.
• Extensive business development or enterprise sales experience within the Financial Services sector.
• Proven track record of achieving and surpassing revenue targets through consultative, solution-oriented sales.
• Demonstrated experience in managing strategic customer relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Experience in selling enterprise technology, cyber security, professional services, or learning solutions.
• Proven ability to manage complex sales opportunities involving multiple decision-makers.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or a similar CRM platform.
• Strong comprehension of the UK Financial Services market.
• Knowledge of cyber security challenges faced by Financial Services organizations.
• Awareness of FCA, PRA, Operational Resilience, DORA, NIS2, ISO 27001, and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
• Understanding of consultative and value-based sales methodologies.
• Exceptional relationship-building and executive stakeholder management capabilities.
• Strong consultative selling and commercial negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
