This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +36 more states.
• Develop and implement the go-to-market strategy for Defensible Security targeting key DIB and regulated-commercial sectors.
• Convert market potentials into a prioritized pipeline and reliable bookings forecast.
• Identify, qualify, nurture, and finalize opportunities.
• Create a demand-generation engine that yields a marketing-sourced pipeline.
• Cultivate executive relationships with prime contractors, defense manufacturers, the Intelligence Community, and approved subcontractors.
• Establish and manage MSP/MSSP, prime contractor, cloud, and advisory partnerships along with channel programs.
• Coordinate messaging, offerings, and partner initiatives in alignment with CMMC Phase 2/3 timelines and prime-driven flow-down requirements.
• Set up forecasting cycles, pipeline analytics, operational dashboards, and GTM playbooks.
• Keep an eye on the competitive landscape and customer needs to refine positioning alongside the Director of Cybersecurity.
• Oversee marketing, content, events, and account-based marketing initiatives in collaboration with SNC marketing, corporate communications, and external agencies.
• Recruit, organize, and lead a dedicated Defensible commercial team focusing on marketing, partnerships, and sales.
• Represent SNC at executive briefings, conferences, webinars, and industry working groups.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience; 15 years of relevant experience is required if a degree is absent.
• Over 11 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related domain.
• In-depth knowledge of US Department of Defense Military programs, Foreign Military Sales, and acquisition processes.
• Ability to comprehend and analyze customer requirements and operational concepts, and articulate detailed technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Progressive experience in technical marketing, proposal development, and program management or engineering design.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proven track record in selling cybersecurity, managed security, compliance, or technology solutions.
• Demonstrated success in building MSP/MSSP, prime contractor, cloud, or advisory partner and channel ecosystems.
• Experience in developing account plans and capture strategies for new business opportunities.
• Capability to collaborate with senior business and government leaders and provide workplace leadership.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
• Familiarity with CMMC/CUI compliance and the Defense Industrial Base.
• Willingness to travel monthly for conferences, customer, and partner engagements.
• Ability to secure and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
• Capacity to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods.
• Regular hand/finger dexterity for typing and writing.
• Ability to travel.
• Capability to work in an office or hybrid setting.
