This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop, enhance, support, and secure the long-term success of VSP Technologies' Data Center Sales initiatives
• Drive customer acquisition and the expansion of strategic accounts
• Build and sustain a pipeline of data center projects and strategic accounts
• Identify, target, and finalize new customer engagements within the designated territory and/or market
• Monitor industry trends, customer needs, competitor activities, and regulatory factors impacting data center markets
• Coordinate and support customer training efforts related to products, applications, safety, and best practices
• Lead high-level engagement with stakeholders in engineering, reliability, procurement, and operations
• Cultivate relationships with data center owners/operators, engineering firms, EPCs, mechanical contractors, OEMs, distributors, and other key influencers
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure technical solutions align with customer operational and compliance needs
• Create forecasts and prepare annual and quarterly budgets for assigned accounts
• Monitor KPIs and customer cost-saving initiatives
• Accurately and promptly document customer savings, value creation, and project outcomes
• Utilize Salesforce as the primary tool for sales, forecasting, and customer management
• Collaborate with internal sales teams, engineering, operations, and leadership to implement growth initiatives
• Ensure quarterly documentation of customer cost savings, value creation, and measurable customer outcomes related to Data Center opportunities
• Promote VSP's professional, technically credible image and enhance the recognition of the company and its products and services
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, technical discipline, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• Ability to comprehend technical applications and translate product and engineering capabilities into measurable customer and commercial value
• Proficiency in Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform, including pipeline management, forecasting, and opportunity documentation
• Customer-facing business development, technical sales, or strategic account experience in data centers, mission-critical infrastructure, industrial markets, or similar technical environments preferred
• Demonstrated work experience in business development, technical sales, strategic account management, or a similar commercial role preferred
• Experience in data centers, mission-critical infrastructure, mechanical systems, industrial applications, or related technical markets preferred
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
• Must have an acceptable driving record according to Company policy
• Must have reliable transportation essential for performing the core functions of the position
• Ability to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; hours may vary based on position demands
