This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
⢠Lead and oversee business development for Collins Mission Systems Army Networking and Communications.
⢠Build and sustain networks of contacts within US Army requirements, capabilities, development, acquisition, and sustainment organizations.
⢠Recognize customer needs, program initiatives, cross-portfolio efficiencies, dependencies, and opportunities.
⢠Provide guidance and coordinate the development and implementation of customer solutions for MODI BMC2N.
⢠Facilitate collaboration and strategies across US Army communication organizations by coordinating across Mission Systems.
⢠Influence requirements, acquisition strategies, and decision-making processes.
⢠Interpret and relay US Army policies, initiatives, requirements, and opportunities to BMC2N leadership.
⢠Lead and back lateral business opportunities and critical ongoing programs.
⢠Align US Army communications strategies with business-unit pursuit leads.
⢠Assist in lifecycle program management activities, gate reviews, color teams, market assessments, marketing plans, proposal teams, and strategic planning.
⢠Support trade shows and professional conferences.
⢠Collect complex requirements and convert them into technical solutions and a unified US Army communications strategy.
⢠Work in collaboration with development teams to ensure successful delivery and integration of solutions.
⢠Provide expert troubleshooting assistance.
⢠Identify and address risks related to proposed solutions.
⢠Monitor emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance offerings and stimulate innovation.
⢠Promote ongoing learning and development.
⢠Travel required: 30ā40%.
⢠A University Degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience are typically required, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 10 years of experience.
⢠A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience working with US Army customers is essential.
⢠A solid understanding of US Army Networking and Communications doctrine, strategies and programs, platforms, missions, and systems, including battlefield employment.
⢠Recent experience with the US Army; ideal candidates should have qualifications equivalent to Chief Warrant Officer 04/05, Lieutenant Colonel, Colonel, or GS-15.
⢠Familiarity with DoD processes for requirements development and approval, capability solutions, budgeting, and acquisition is necessary.
⢠Experience with protocols and regulations related to classified information handling.
⢠An active and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance is required before the start date.
⢠U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
⢠Over 5 years of experience in US Army networking and communications operations, communications acquisition, test and evaluation, C5ISR, or T2COM is highly desired.
⢠Previous roles as a Senior Signal Officer, Senior Signal Warrant Officer, or Senior Signal Advisor are preferred.
⢠Prior leadership experience is favored.
⢠Strong strategic and critical thinking abilities, creativity, problem-solving skills, and the capacity to challenge customer perspectives and analyze alternatives based on facts.
⢠Knowledge of Foreign Military Sales and Army Contracting Command procedures and business rules.
⢠Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently brief large audiences and senior officials.
