This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with Pyka's sales team to expand the North American agricultural customer base for Pelican 2.
• Engage with both existing and potential customers, spearheading sales initiatives through initial and repeat Purchase Orders.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer sales inquiries.
• Prepare and negotiate sales quotations from the initial prospecting phase to transaction closure.
• Create customer briefings and meeting reports for Pyka's senior management team.
• Assist with logistics for customer demonstrations and agricultural shows/events.
• Identify and cultivate new customer relationships throughout the US and Canada, focusing on key agricultural regions.
• Conduct market assessments and customer segmentation analyses to identify growth opportunities for Pelican 2 in North America.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop North America-specific marketing materials.
• Coordinate with Pyka HQ teams to streamline aircraft delivery logistics.
• Support Flight Operations during initial customer on-site operations.
• Identify and engage potential clients, including large-scale farmers, agribusinesses, cooperatives, and distributors.
• Oversee the sales cycle from initial prospecting to final closing.
• Communicate product advantages and provide customized data, insights, and solutions based on client requirements.
• 5–8 years of experience in the North American agricultural sector.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
• Experience in agricultural drone operations.
• Knowledge of aerial application operations and competitive products.
• Financially astute with demonstrated transaction negotiation capabilities.
• Strong understanding of value drivers for North American growers and farmers.
• Extensive network within the North American agricultural industry.
• Independent, driven self-starter.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ideally located in the Bay Area and willing to travel frequently.
• Employment is contingent upon the ongoing availability of necessary government authorizations, including an export license or other documentation, to access export-controlled technology, software, and information.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
• Support for customer demonstrations and agricultural shows/events.
• Assistance during Flight Operations for initial customer site operations.
• Export control authorization and documentation support as necessary for access to controlled technology, software, and information.
